Clinical Nurse (Gynaecology)

Part time
$53 – $58 per hour

Minimum 50 hours per fortnight

Bethesda Health Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse to join our high performing Gynaecology team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a modern perioperative environment known for clinical excellence, strong teamwork and patient centred care.

Working within our state of the art theatres, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting safe, efficient and evidence based perioperative services while mentoring and guiding nursing staff.

Reporting to the Manager Perioperative Services, the Clinical Nurse provides clinical leadership and delivers evidence based perioperative and postoperative nursing care. The role supports staff capability development, promotes best practice standards and contributes to the effective coordination of perioperative services in line with Bethesda Health Care values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality clinical care within Gynaecology
  • Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to Registered Nurses and students
  • Support the effective management and flow of perioperative services
  • Ensure compliance with ACORN Standards and contemporary best practice
  • Act as a clinical resource and escalation point for the team
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department

Essential Criteria

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated clinical capability within the perioperative environment
  • Strong communication, organisational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

Desirable Criteria

  • Minimum five years theatre experience in Gynaecology
  • Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing
