Bethesda Health Care is seeking an experienced part-time (32 hours per week) Staff Development Nurse with a passion for education and supporting nursing staff to deliver the highest standards of care. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nursing professional who is committed to continuous learning and development and wants to significantly impact the training and development of staff within Perioperative Services.
About the role:
This is a highly impactful role within the Learning and Development team, focused on planning, coordinating, and delivering education and training for nursing staff in scrub/scout, anaesthetics, and the Post-Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU). Working collaboratively with the Manager of Learning and Development and the Perioperative Services team, you will be responsible for developing education programs, conducting competency assessments, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives, aligning with the organisation’s strategic goals.
