How we’re making
an impact

New initiatives, new discoveries, better holistic care.

Bethesda Clinic

Bethesda are opening the first Private Mental Health Service in Cockburn Central West, that will admit patients in late 2022.

This will be the first Private Mental Health Service south of the river, servicing Perth’s southern suburbs and the southwest.

The innovative Mental Health System of Care will feature 75 overnight beds, a Wellness and Recovery Centre, a state of the art Neurostimulation Unit with ECT and TMS services and specialist consulting suites.

Other service innovations at the centre will involve new service delivery models, community-based care and digital health, including tele-health and video conferencing. This service will focus on voluntary adult patient admission only, along with specialist referral.

If you are interested in receiving admission rights and employment or general updates, please subscribe to our mailing list.

Theatre Optimisation

We are currently in the process of redesigning our operating theatres to optimise our theatre lists and capabilities.

Bethesda are committed to offering best practice to our doctors and patients with the latest technology, equipment, infrastructure, and innovative healthcare practices.

Partnering with Local Schools and the Community

We cherish our relationships with the schools in our community and collaborate with them regularly.

The Scotch College pipe band often cross the highway to brighten up our staff, patients, and visitor’s day with a carpark performance. Methodist Ladies’ College (MLC) string quartet are frequent performers at Hospital events and are always so well received. It is lovely to have the docile melodies flow upstairs to our palliative care ward.

Recently, we have formed a special relationship with MLC’s Early Learning Centre. The little kids bring such a joy into the hospital, with the aim to normalise hospital’s at a young age so that they are not a ‘scary’ place for children.

Working together to extend care and services to the community, Bethesda are proud sponsors of the Claremont Bowling Club, Dalkeith Nedlands Bowling Club and Claremont Yacht Club.
